The Device
What is the Hume Band 2.0, in plain English?
A wrist-worn health monitor. It reads biological age, metabolic momentum, blood pressure trends, HRV, blood oxygen, sleep stages and skin temperature, on a single charge that lasts up to 14 days — no subscription needed for any of that.
Does my phone need to be with me at all times?
No. The band records and stores everything on its own. The Hume Health app (iOS and Android) is where you'll view your trends, and it syncs the next time your phone's nearby — no need to carry it on a run or overnight.
Is it all right to wear in the shower or the pool?
Yes. It's IP68-rated — dust-resistant and fine with 1 metre of water for up to 2 hours. Showers, swimming and sweaty sessions in the gym are all within spec.
How trustworthy are the readings?
The 2.0 model uses 5 LEDs and 4 photodiodes, sampling more often than most wearables in its price bracket, and the accuracy has held up in both internal lab testing and independent comparisons. As with any optical wrist sensor, you'll get the most consistent readings with a snug fit, about a finger's width above the wrist bone.

Is Hume Premium worth adding on?
It's entirely optional, at £7.99 a month, and adds AI-driven coaching plus more detailed longevity breakdowns. The core metrics — biological age, blood pressure trends, HRV and the rest — come with your purchase regardless.
Is VAT included in the price?
Yes — the price shown at checkout is the price you pay, VAT and all. No surprises added later.
Is checkout secure?
Yes, payments run through encrypted, PCI-compliant checkout. We don't hold your full card number on our own systems.
Delivery in the UK
How quickly does it get dispatched?
Within 1–2 business days of ordering. Most UK addresses then see delivery within a further 1–3 business days.
Does delivery cost anything?
No — delivery is free to addresses right across the UK, on every order, with no minimum spend.
Returns & Warranty
What's the returns window?
45 days from delivery, full refund, no explanation required — well beyond the standard 14-day statutory cooling-off period. Full details are on our Refund & Returns page.
Is there a warranty included?
Every unit comes with a 1-year hardware warranty as standard. There's also an optional 10-year extended warranty for £27 at checkout, covering hardware and sensor issues for the device's whole lifespan.

Can I get my own data out if I want to?
Yes, any time, straight from the Hume Health app. It's your data — exporting it is never locked behind anything.
