Terms of Service
The ground rules for ordering from humeband.uk and using the Hume Health app.
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms set out the basis on which you can use humeband.uk and the Hume Health app (the "Services"), operated by Hume Health Corp ("we", "us", "our"). Placing an order, setting up an account, or otherwise using the Services means you're agreeing to what follows.
1. Who Can Use This Site
You need to be 18 or over to order from humeband.uk or set up a Hume Health account. The Services aren't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
2. Placing an Order
An order is an offer on your part to buy a Hume Band 2.0 (and any add-ons, like the extended warranty) at the price shown, VAT included. We can decline or cancel an order — say, in cases of suspected fraud, a pricing error, or a stock problem — and you'll get a full refund if that happens.
Prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise and can change without notice, though that won't affect an order already placed.
3. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including your right to cancel within 14 days of delivery. Our own returns policy goes considerably further than this — see our Refund & Returns page, which forms part of these Terms.
4. This Is Not a Medical Device
The Hume Band 2.0 is a consumer wellness product intended to help you notice patterns in your own health and habits. It is not a medical device, and it isn't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent illness. Figures like biological age, metabolic momentum and illness-risk indicators are wellness estimates generated from sensor data and internal algorithms — they're not a substitute for advice from a GP or other qualified healthcare professional.
Seek medical attention for anything urgent, regardless of what the app shows, and don't base medical decisions solely on Hume Band data.
5. Keeping Your Account Secure
Whatever happens under your Hume Health account is down to you, so keep your login details private. Let us know straight away if you think someone's accessed your account without permission.
6. What You Agree Not to Do
Don't reverse-engineer or tamper with the hardware or software in ways that break the law, use the Services to infringe anyone's rights, or try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
7. Ownership of the Brand and Content
"Hume Band", "Hume Health" and related marks belong to Hume Health Corp. The device design, the app, and everything on this site are protected by copyright and related rights, and reproducing them without permission isn't allowed.
8. Warranty and Liability
Beyond the specific warranty set out in our Refund & Returns policy and your statutory rights, the Services are provided as-is, to the extent permitted by law. Hume Health Corp isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the product or Services, again to the extent the law allows that limitation.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top changes accordingly. Continuing to use the Services after an update means the new version applies to you.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
